Total knee replacement (TKR) rehabilitation is a series of exercises and therapeutic interventions that help patients regain mobility, strength, and function after knee replacement surgery

  • Range of motion exercises: Help restore flexibility and mobility in the knee 
  • Strengthening exercises: Target the muscles around the knee to improve stability and support 
  • Balance and coordination exercises: Enhance proprioception and reduce the risk of falls 
  • Gait training: Teaches patients proper walking mechanics and weight distribution 
  • Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES): Helps your quadriceps contract and improve your ability to use these muscles on your own.
